About Gigi

Gigi, Gloria Gregg, is a retired registered nurse with over 20 years experience in many areas of nursing from pregnancy to elder care. From home visits to the hospital to the nursing home. She has had a passion to care for people.  certified aromatherapist and more.

Gloria is mother and grandmother. Due to life needs, working in the usual settings became impossible. She was introduced to essential oils by a friend and given information that she knew could not possibly be true. Thus her quest for education about them began. She became certified and continues her education to provide accurate, safe, and effective information and products to the community. So, she found a new way to fulfill her passion to bring education, care, and comfort to her community and beyond.

She obtained her initial Aromatherapy Certification from Aromahead Institute, where she is continuing her studies in the Scholar’s Program under the tutelage of Andrea Butje, winner of the Lifetime Achievement Award in Aromatherapy. She has taken the “Harmonizing the Spirit” class form world renowned Gabriel Mojay, principal of The Institute of Traditional Herbal Medicine and Aromatherapy (ITHMA), London and founding co-chair of the International Federation of Professional Aromatherapists (IFPA). Gloria is also one of 17 out of over 40 students, in her class, obtaining their certification in Aromatic Medicine, Advanced Diploma Course titled Aromatic Medicine, Integrated Advanced Essential Oil therapeutics for Common Clinical Conditions taught by Mark Webb, BSc, MASCC from Australia, Managing Director of Aromamedix Pty Ltd co hosted by The Heal Center Atlanta and ITHMA. She has also taken a course in CO2s with Mark Webb.

In addition to her current continued studies at Aromahead she is studying the lipids that the essential oils are then placed in. She is also studying at The Atlantic Institute with Sylla and Nyssa Hanger for a different view and perspective to aromatherapy and approach. She will also continue to take targeted classes from many individuals in the filed. Learning from multiple professionals expands and rounds perspective in care. Drawing on respected and experienced professionals brings a background more adept at dealing with differing cultures, beliefs, and desire of depth of aromatherapy practice.

Gloria has taught many things in life. She taught childbirth classes, breastfeeding and sibling prep. She also taught neonatal resusitation. She was a Padi Scuba instructor. She also is a certified rebreather diver. She rides a Harley. She’s traveled to amny countries and enjoys talking with people and learning about their cultures, history, and foods.

Gloria brings her kind, caring, and adventurous spirit to all she does. Her wide variety of life experiences, hobbies and studies aid her ability to relate to people in all walks of life.
