I Am . . . this blend is one that was developed in Sylla’s Inner Sanctum during a live class in May 2017 with Sylla and Nyssa at Atlantic Institute of Aromatherapy.  The case study was someone who needed to find inner peace and confidence in themselves.  They needed to let go of past mistakes and learn to love themselves where they are now.  They needed to learn to be human and accept their mistakes as just that . . . mistakes.

After developing the blend, it was shared with a number of people, including our colleague from Aromatic Harmony, Judy Klispie (who is not a patchouli lover, folks) . . . Just fell in love with it, as did the server who waited on Judy and Dedi.  Judy actually came up with the name for the blend that night (thanks Judy).  While the blend does have patchouli, it’s not at all detectable.

Shannon Grover says:  "The first deep breath I took of it, from the bottle, was a pungent herbal scent on the top with a deeper bergamot layer that revealed itself the longer I breathed in. On a scent strip, the pungent herbal scent is still there but softened. The deeper I breathe it in, I get more woody citrus scent."

This is the blend for anyone who needs to love themselves, forgive themselves, move forward internally, and find some inner peace.  Note that anyone will still need to work on quenching the bad thoughts that come with self-doubt.  While using this synergy, we suggest you breathe in and hold . . . think positive thoughts (saying them aloud is even better), and exhale slowly.  Doing this throughout your day will begin to train your mind to automatically think positive when inhaling I Am.  One day, you’ll notice that you’ve gotten a whiff of I Am and immediately changed your negative thoughts to more positive ones.

I Am consists of Sweet Orange (Citrus sinensis), Patchouli (Pogostemon cablin), Cistus (Cistus ladaniferus), Elemi (Canarium luzonicum), Melissa (Melissa officinalis), Bergamot (Citrus bergamia), Grapefruit (Citrus paradisi), Jasmine (Jasminum officinale), Peppermint (Mentha piperita), Cypress (Cupressus sempervirens)

Aromasticks are in a base of Jojoba Oil for longevity.

I love the smell of this. I really need this right now to help with my depression.

  2. Kelly Evans (verified owner)

I got this in an aromastick and I can’t really smell it.

  3. Tadpole781 (verified owner)

This is a lovely scent! I received the aroma stick free with purchase, expecting not to enjoy it- I can always detect patchouli. I can’t smell it at all in this, but the effects are there. The blend is on my wishlist now! Thank you DE for the sample.

I ordered an aromastick of I Am to see if I would like it. I LOVE it! I immediately placed an order for a bottle of it. The scent is lovely and touches me deep down; I can’t really explain it any more than I can’t stop sniffing it.

I ordered a sample and it’s something special. I ended up sending it to a friend who is going through difficulties because things this special should be shared

I Am Essential oil blend should follow the safety guidelines below. ~ Source:  Tisserand, Robert and Young, Rodney. While we’ve made this clear that we are selling this essential oil to use in your diffuser or in your inhaler it is a pure essential oil and can be used as such.  With all essential oils:

  • Never use them undiluted, in eyes or mucus membranes (this includes mouth, ear canals, noses, genital regions as well as internal areas).  The strength of essential oils can easily damage these soft tissue areas.
  • Do not take internally unless working with a qualified and expert practitioner.
    Keep away from children.
  • If applying an essential oil to your skin always perform a small patch test to an insensitive part of the body (after you have properly diluted the oil in an appropriate carrier).

  • Oral Safety is only given because many people have been told to take oils internally.  Because several people look to us for safety advice, we feel obligated to offer those safety statements, although we do not believe anyone should be ingesting essential oils without being guided by an expert.  Experts will take your medical history into account before they suggest oils for you to ingest, diffuse, or use topically.

Information provided has not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration.

The International Federation of Aromatherapists does not recommend that Essential Oils be taken internally unless under the supervision of a Medical Doctor who is also qualified in clinical Aromatherapy. All cautions listed for individual oils do not include those cautions from ingestion.
