We source only pure essential oils.
The antibacterial qualities of lime essential oil make it an great addition for immune boosting regimes, including diffusing and cleaning products.
Diffusing this essential oil at night is not recommended as it is a very stimulating oil and could create problems with sleep. Instead, use it during the day when you will appreciate that invigorating, fatigue-relieving aroma.
The disinfecting properties can be useful in caring for oil-prone skin. Lime is known to help clean the pores as well as tighten them. This is only recommended in a good moisturizing carrier, like jojoba.
We don't have it listed as blending well with other citrus oils because too much citrus can be overpowering . . . but sometimes overpowering is what you want. I like lime mixed in a glass spray bottle with other citrus oils and rubbing alcohol as a bathroom spray. Artificial air fresheners give me headaches and rarely cover the scent . . . but citrus oils knock it right out with no headache for me.
This is distilled Lime Essential Oil. It's important to know the difference because expressed lime is a sensitizer. The distilled version that you see here is not a sensitizer. You still need to dilute, as you do with all essential oils . . . but there is no max dilution for this distilled oil.
With our pre-diluted oils . . . if diluted for kids is the highest dilution you see, it’s also the max dilution possible. Pre-diluted oils are in fractionated coconut oil.

Keep away from children.
Oral Safety is only given because many people have been told to take oils internally. Because several people look to us for safety advice, we feel obligated to offer those safety statements, although we do not believe anyone should be ingesting essential oils without being guided by an expert. Experts will take your medical history into account before they suggest oils for you to ingest, diffuse, or use topically.

This is my first experience with SD lime. I like the candy like smell.

I’m horrible at reviews, but it’s never too late. I think this lime is the closest thing to smell of a real lime that there is, great for a lime body scrub.
