Another Stone Rise Farm oil, Lavender "Swampy" sold at auction this year for $500 and $300 in 10ml bottles. This was historically the highest price ever paid for a 10ml bottle of lavender. This speaks to the quality and care that Chris Burder of Stone Rise Farms puts into his products. If you are unaware of who Chris is, click the link below to hear him talk about his practices. You can get a small glimpse of how much goes into his distillation process.

If you have experienced any of Chris Burder's artisan distilled products, you know that he has pride in what he does.  This "Sumian" Lavadin Essential Oil is no different.  Absolute top of the line in quality and anyone who has had it can tell you . . . it's to die for!

This is one of my favorite lavenders and I like to put it in my lotion as a low dilution and use at night time.

I’ve been wondering about lavandinand got it here during GREAT deals. It’s yummy! Use it in my diffuser necklace all the time to deal with some cranky customers.

What an absolutely beautiful, perfect oil. When I found it available I had to have it; it does not disappoint. It has the aroma of fresh cut Lavender. A little sweet, slightly less floral to my nose, and just the right touch of camphor. I’m so glad I got it here while it’s available.

While we’ve made this clear that we are selling this essential oil to use in your diffuser, your inhaler, or topically (diluted), it is a pure essential oil and can be used as such.  With all essential oils:

  • Never use them undiluted, in eyes or mucus membranes (this includes mouth, ear canals, noses, genital regions as well as internal areas).  The strength of essential oils can easily damage these soft tissue areas.
  • Do not take internally unless working with a qualified and expert practitioner.
    Keep away from children.
  • If applying an essential oil to your skin always perform a small patch test to an insensitive part of the body (after you have properly diluted the oil in an appropriate carrier).

  • Oral Safety is only given because many people have been told to take oils internally.  Because several people look to us for safety advice, we feel obligated to offer those safety statements, although we do not believe anyone should be ingesting essential oils without being guided by an expert.  Experts will take your medical history into account before they suggest oils for you to ingest, diffuse, or use topically.
