Sunshine Essential Oil Blend

Sunshine Essential Oil Blend is a refreshing blend of citrus oils and a splash of spearmint, it's fresh, energetic and yet soothing, and stimulating to the mind and body. This blend was a hit at the local Farm Markets and craft fairs. It made it's broader debut in the AromaBox in April 2018.

Sunshine Essential Oil Blend is a  Red Mandarin (Citrus nobilis), Lemon (Citrus limon), Ruby Red Grapefruit (Citrus paradisii), Distilled Lime (Citrus aurantifolia), and Spearmint (Mentha spicata) essential oils. When crafting this blend, I used cold pressed lime but, due to the phototoxicity potential, I decided to go with a distilled lime to enable it to be used in a topical product. We have created a Sunshine Body Wash, Sunshine Lip Balm, and Sunshine Lip Balm - Vegan to coordinate with the Sunshine blend. Because of the phototoxicity potential, we suggest keeping your final product at or below a 2% dilution if you wish to mix it into a carrier for topical use. As always, use proper dilution for age and skin condition/thickness.

Because I am not a stagnant person and am forever changing and adjusting things, this blend falls right in line with way of life.I firmly believe in the three R's - Reduce, Reuse, Recycle. The Sunshine Essential Oil Blend is complex and well rounded with the excitement of the mint touch. The added bonus, is that it's also great mixed into a more complex blend. Love the pines? The Sunshine Blend works well with a bit of evergreens added be it pine, spruce, fir,... Like adding a little Siberian Fir in your blend to help with allergy season. Like a deep woodsy sort of scent? Citrus is a great way to truly develop those woodsy scents. I love Sandalwood and citrus. How about a love of spice aroma? Citrus and spice pair extremely well. So, what about florals? Yep, you guessed it, citrus and florals blend well together.

Citrus isn't just citrus, each one has a uniqueness to it. Some are more similar to an other but, they each carry a special little note in their scent that touches a different emotional aspect. The Sunshine Essential Oil Blend was created to envelope many aspects in this area. In the scent arena, the variance of the oils lends the blend more flexibility making potential combinations endless.
