Tangerine is one of few essential oils that is not considered phototoxic so it is considered safe to use safely diluted in topical applications and be in the sunlight! Tangerine is one of my favorites for calming emotional support. It is also beneficial before bedtime to quite the mind It is economical, sustainable and who doesn't love the smell of sweet orange goodness? I find tangerine to have more of an orange scent and stick around a bit longer than your typical sweet orange. This is also safe to use on little ones and blends well with just about anything.
Tangerine is a monoterpene and one thing about monoterpenes is they will have a longer shelf life when stored refrigerated. Monoterpenes are also know to cause dermal sensitization more readily when they are oxidized so keep your citruses stored in a cool dark place to ensure you get the most life out of them.
With our pre-diluted oils . . . if diluted for kids is the highest dilution you see, it’s also the max dilution possible. Pre-diluted oils are in fractionated coconut oil.

Tangerine was one of my first purchases from here, and I’ve had it from another place, but this one smells like tangerines and I’ll be buying it again from here when the time comes.

I received this oil free with my first DeRu purchase. This oil is the real deal. It smells exactly like peeling a fresh, juicy tangerine. I have this oil from another company which I thought smelled close enough, but there is now no comparison. The DeRu oil is leaps and bounds above the other company! Can’t wait to try more DeRu oils!
